Privacy policy

This policy explains how TaskBionics ("we") handles information when you use taskbionics.com.

Files you upload

• We process files only to check and repair them.
• Original files are processed in memory and never stored.
• Repaired copies and previews are stored privately and deleted automatically after 24 hours.
• We do not look at, sell, share or use your file contents for anything else, including training AI models.

Information we collect

• Job details (file name, size, type, problems found) — kept for 24 hours, then deleted.
• Anonymous statistics (file type and number of problems) — kept to improve our service, with no names or contents.
• A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, rotated daily, used only to stop abuse (rate limiting). We do not store your actual IP address.
• If you pay: Stripe processes your payment and email address under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment status and the email for your receipt and refunds.
• If you email us: your message and email address, to reply.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your dark-mode choice is saved in your own browser. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count page views without identifying you.

Service providers

• Cloudflare — hosting, file processing and temporary storage.
• Stripe — payments.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to your data protection authority. Email [email protected]. Because uploads are deleted within 24 hours, there is usually nothing left to delete.
