Yes. Files travel over an encrypted connection. We read your original in memory to check and repair it, and we never store it. Only the repaired copy is kept, privately, so you can download it — and it is deleted automatically after 24 hours. We don't look at your files and never share them.

You don't have to. The free check lists every problem, and the free preview shows the recovered text, pages, rows, photo or audio before you pay. If the paid file doesn't open, we refund you.

Never. Some scam sites with similar-sounding names ask visitors to paste text into the Windows Run box, Terminal or File Explorer's address bar to "fix" a file. That installs malware. TaskBionics only ever asks you to choose a file.
