Repair a corrupted Excel workbook (.xlsx)
An .xlsx workbook is a ZIP of XML parts: each sheet is a separate file (xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml…), text cells share one string table, and xl/workbook.xml lists the sheets. When the workbook index is lost, the sheets are often still intact.
What our repair does
- Rebuild a damaged ZIP index
- Recover each surviving worksheet
- Rebuild a missing workbook index (xl/workbook.xml) and sheet list
- Repair broken XML inside sheets
- Remove dangling links so Excel opens without the repair prompt
The check and preview are free. The repaired file costs $4.99.
